Photo Editing
Ever more popular, photo editing is within the reach of everyone. Depending on your
needs and budget, Surrey Computing have two recommendations.
Picasa
Picasa is a software package created by Google. It's free, and is very popular.
It allows you to search your computer for all your photos, then organise them. You
can then perform quick photo editing tasks, such as removing redeye, cropping and
brightening. Picasa can then help you share your photos with others, through email,
printing and on the Internet.
Picasa is free, and can be downloaded individually or as part of the Google software
pack.

Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is the market leading photo editing software, used by serious professionals
at all levels. For any amateur photographer though, it does come highly recommended
- despite the high price tag.
Adobe Photoshop costs around £570 in the UK. If you're seriously into your design
and media you might want to consider Adobe Creative Suite - a combination of Adobe's
software.
